On the day of the inspection, please allow approximately 1.5 hours for us to evaluate everything before we review the results with the client. This ensures that we can be focused and evaluate everything to the fullest extent without any distractions or interference.
We prefer to work alone until we have evaluated everything and are ready to summarize the findings. Clients do not need to be at the inspection when we start. (recommended arrival time is 1 to 1.5 hours after we start, if they are able to attend that is)
Why is this? - Homes and their systems are inherently complex. Many interrelated components are viewed at different times throughout the inspection. That is why it is important that we see everything before going over the findings. The bottom line: We want to be as thorough as humanly possible, and having a shadow or too many distractions can take away from that.
