Joe Schreiner
Joe is the founder of Sage Home Inspections, and has been inspecting homes full-time as a Washington State certified and licensed home inspector since 2014. Joe grew up in a construction family, and has an extensive background in residential remodeling and construction that laid a solid foundation for becoming a professional home inspector.
Joe graduated from Montana State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Technology (CET). With 18 years of hands-on construction and remodeling experience, Joe's knowledge of homes is second-to-none. Joe is a certified member of Internachi, an international organization of professional home inspectors, and has passed all of the certification courses that you see at the bottom of this page.
Outside of work, Joe can typically be found exploring in the mountains and wilderness. Skiing, hiking, and backpacking are a few of his passions.

Kevin McKay
Kevin is a Washington state and nationally certified home inspector working out of North Seattle. He has a background in facilities/property management and most recently worked in construction with a focus on excavation & foundation prep, underground utilities installation, site drainage & sewer work, as well as overall general contracting duties. Now moving to the post-construction side of things, Kevin helps new home buyers and sellers fully evaluate the condition of homes before moving onto their next steps.
